Spotted + Haul: Current LEs: Catrice etc.

Hi there!
I just lately saw some LEs at the drugstore, and I bought a few things. First of the ones that I didn't buy things from:
Manhattan - London Calling

Alverde - My Perfect Day

Essence - I Love Berlin

I'm not gonna say anything anymore about these, if you want to know more about them, click the names and you'll see the products on Pinkmelon.de (except for the Alverde one)!

Now the ones I bought stuff from:
p2 - Make Up Parade
A cute little LE that didn't get that many good reviews from other bloggers, and I got the only thing that really interested me: the silver glitter polish top coat. It's called 01 groovy finish and a sheer polish with glitter particles and glitter sticks that is mainly meant as a top coat. It's not really meant to be opaque. But I like it :)
p2 glitter top coat - right: china glaze - sunset sail
Catrice - Floralista (click for pics on pinkmelon)
A really nice floral-themed LE that didn't seem that interesting to me at first. But when I saw it in real life, I liked it a lot :) It contained a lot of pretty stuff, and if I had more money I'd gotten more stuff ;) Take a look at it, it's pretty :) I got 2 polishes and the blush.
The blush 01 As Lively As Ever contains two colors, a coral and a pink.
The design is really cute with the flowers :) The colors are matte and pretty bright. The blush is pretty pigmented, but you can apply it naturally. I can't really say that the colors are big enough to use them separately, but that depends on which brush you use. I prefer to use them mixed together, as one coral pink color. It lasts pretty long, but fades a little during the day.
The nail polishes I bought are in the colors C01 Pink Spring and C03 lavender breeze.
left: C01; right: C03
CO1 is a pretty bright pinkish purple shade, I like it a lot :)
it's too pale in this pic :P
this pic shows the color perfectly
It's a nice spring color to me, and I immediately have to wear it! It's opaque with two coats, really cool. It's a creme polish, and not really that unique, but I still like it a lot! Weirdly enough, I didn't own a color like this before. Why?? I have no idea, it's pretty <3
C03 is a light light light pale lavender color that looks mainly white in the bottle.

to see the difference: above a true white (Essence Stampy Polish) and underneath Catrice - C03. You can tell the light lavender hint!
It's a creme polish, and surprisingly opaque with 2 coats. I expected it to be way more sheer because it's such a pale color, but it's pretty opaque! I like the color, because a polish that is that pale is not very common. You can mainly tell the lavender hint in it by comparing the polish to a true white.

I like these things a lot :) What did you get from these LEs??

NOTD January 14th: Essie - Merino Cool

Hey there!
Here's another color for them Essie Mini Fall Cube I reviewed here *click*.
And honestly, I'm a little disappointed. I already swatched it in that review, but there I did get that disappointed. My disappointment comes from the color. It looks so pretty purple-grey mulberry in the bottle, on the promo pics, and on swatches I saw, but on me it's just a pewter grey.
And it also chipped on me after one day. I don't know maybe it's just my bottle of it, or my nails, but I'm not so happy about it. It's still pretty, but not the color I actually wanted. But whatever! I still like it. The purple does show up, but not as much as I thought and not in every lighting.
What do you think of this color? Does it look purple-grey mulberry on you??
I'll see you later!

NOTD January 4th: Essie - Limited Addiction + Spotted

Hey everyone,
I just lately reviewed the Essie Mini Fall Cube here, and now I'm wearing one of the colors: Limited Addiction! If you want to read more about the color and stuff, go to that review. For now, let's just say it's a cherry bloody red.

I like it a lot, because it looks classy without being that obvious bright red! I'm wearing two coats of it, with topcoat, and it stayed until the second day without showing any tipwear. I removed it today, day 4, not only because it chipped a little, but also because I like to change my color often so it's not boring :)

Do you like this color, too? Or do you maybe prefer that standart bright red? I'd like to know!

I just recently visited dm and found the new p2 Limited Edition, called Your Wild Side.
I didn't buy anything, not so interesting to me, but I thought you might like to see a picture of the counter :)

Essie Mini Fall Cube

Hey guys!
I just recently went shopping and visited Douglas and I saw something I had to get: the Essie Mini Fall Cube! I know, fall's over by a long time now, but it was still available, so I had to get it :)
Even though these are fall colors, I think they're also nice for this winter time now.
I'll show you swatches and describe the colors:

Limited Addiction:

A gorgeous red creme, almost like a jelly, but very opaque. The color is a mix between a cherry red and a bit of bloody red. It needs two coats to get opaque which is perfect in my opinion :) The color is so gorgeous, not too unique, but still not your everyday bright red.

Sew Psyched:
it's way too pale on this picture, the swatch shows the color better.
A green color with a grey hint in it, very unique in my opinion, and it has a slight shimmer that is not always visible. The shimmer is not silver and not gold either, I think it's more of a green grey shimmer, like the actual polish. It's something you don't really find often, especially not at the drugstore. The color is not a color that everyone would like, it's very special, so look at it first :)

Little Brow Dress:

A very dark brown color that is almost black. It's not too warm, definitely not like a chocolate color, but it could be dark chocolate, like ones with 70% cocoa ;) You can tell I'm a fan of chocolate ;) But it also reminds me of coffee. The color is really pretty, I like it, it's different than just a basic black. It's a creme with a very glossy finish.

Merino Cool:
it's a little too pale on this picture, the swatch shows it better.
here the color's true.
A grey color that has a purple tint to it. It's described as a mulberry color very often, I'm not sure if I would agree, because to me it looks not purple enough. It's a creme and a very cool color, too. I can mainly tell the grey color, and if the lighting was bad, you could easily overlook the purple hint. It's not too unique, but also not a very common color.

The cube, containing four mini polishes that hold 5 ml each, costs 12.95 Euros at Douglas. I think the colors are really nice, and even though they're meant to be fall colors, I'll give them a try in winter. It's perfect when you don't want to buy the whole bottle and try out more than one color. The price for these mini polishes is as high as it would be for one normal sized one (15 ml).

The quality is the good old Essie one, pretty nice. All polishes are opaque with two coats and don't show tipwear until the 2nd day of wearing them. At least that's how it's on me.

Plus: I started a little poll on the sidebar. Would be great if you could take the time and fill it in :)

Do you own any of these colors? Do you like them? Or wouldn't you wear them now because they're fall colors? Tell me!
Bye everyone!

Spotted + Haul: 2 Current LEs + NOTD

Hey everyone,
I just went to the drugstore and saw 2 of the latest LEs!
Let's start with my favorite one:
Catrice Urban Baroque
This Limited Edition is so so perfect! Neutral colors, but still very pretty, gorgeous! I love it!! The design is so so pretty, perfect for the theme!
Here are all of the products, on Pinkmelon.de
That's what I got:

- Illuminating powder in C01 Masquerade Ball: I think this is the most wanted product from this LE, and I'm so glad I got one! It contains a lot of colors such as light pink, mid-toned pink, peach and green, and all of them are shimmery! The colors are not big enough to pick them up separately, just swirrl them all together to get the perfect highlight color! It gives a nice glow to your skin and I love it! So pretty :)

click on the picture to read the desciption :)

- Ultimate Nail Lacquer in C01 Pearls & Chains
A very light cream color, very milky, has a light pink tint to it, and it's very very natural. It has teeny-tiny glitter particles in it, but they're almost not noticeable. I was so happy that there were some neutral shades in this LE, because they're not that easy to get at the drugstore! But unfortunately this one isn't opaque at all...
I applied it to my nails and had to do three coats before I even was able to tell the color!

It's extremely natural, very shiny and it does have the nice milky look it has in the bottle :) On the picture I'm wearing 5 coats...not so good! But now that I know that it won't get any opaque anymore, I can at least wear it on days when I don't want color... I like the texture, though, not too thin or too thick.
- Ultimate Nail Lacquer in C02 Rock Baroque:
Another really light color, super pretty, way more pink than number C01, and also a bit darker :) It's a little more opaque, but I haven't swatched it on my nails yet, but on the nail wheel it showed some color :) I know that it's always a problem with nudes that they're not really opaque, but I expected a little more...

here you can see the slight shimmer, just click on the picture :)
I also liked the other stuff that was in this LE, but I liked these ones the most :) I love the whole thing, especially the design, so gorgeous!

Essence Black & White

It just contains black and white colors, and I think it's a nice idea, but a bit boring...just black and white, not so much to experiment with...when you like some of the stuff, get something, but it's not so special ;) The white eyeshadow is supposed to be a dupe for the MAC eyeshadow in crystal avalanche, so if you like that, get the color ;) Something I was wondering about was why are there black & white lip pencils in that LE? Who wears these? Please tell me!
I was actually interested in the Holo topcoat, but I already saw swatches on the internet, and it didn't look that great...well, whatever. Something to pass on for me, I got nothing, but you might like something :)
Here are the products on Pinkmelon.de

Okay, guys, that were these LEs! Did you get anything? Are as excited about the Catrice Urban Baroque LE as I am?
Let me know!
