My Christmas Looks

Hey guys,
hope all of you had happy holidays! I did for sure :)
As promised, I am going to show you the looks I was wearing on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as on the second Christmas Day, December 26th :)

On Christmas Eve I did a light gold look with a little bit of copper in it and kept it pretty simple, because the actually eye-catcher was the very red lips I did :) For my cheeks I kept it natural but with a nice glow.

These are the products I used:
- RdL eyeshadow in 02 sun (a shimmery light champagne gold color) on the inner half of my lid
- Catrice Carame LE eyeshadow in C04 spiced bronze (a shimmery bronze gold color) on the outer half of my lid
- Catrice mono eyeshadow in 070 Mr. Copper's Fields (a shimmery bronze color) in the crease
- Essence eyeliner pen in black as very thin eyeliner
- RdLY diamond mascara in black on upper and lower lashes
p2 lipliner 03 business lady
- p2 lipliner in 03 business lady (bright red) to fill in my complete lips, no lipstick used
- no name bright red lipgloss so get some shine on the lips
- MNY blush in 301 (a peachy pink gold color)
- RdL eyeshadow in 02 sun (a shimmery light champagne gold color) - as mentioned above - for highlight and glow

On Christmas Day I did a gold and green look with a glow on my cheeks again and a nude lip.

These are the products I used:
- RdL eyeshadow in 02 sun (a shimmery light champagne gold color) on the lid
- 120 palette mid-toned shimmery green in the crease
- 120 palette dark emerald shimmery green in the outer V area
- Catrice Nude Sensation Collection eyeshadow in C01 Nude Cream (skin tone shade) to blend out and highlight inner corner and brow bone
- Essence eyeliner pen in black as very thin eyeliner
- RdLY diamond mascara in black on upper and lower lashes
- MNY blush in 301 (a peachy pink gold color)
- RdL eyeshadow in 02 sun (a shimmery light champagne gold color) - as mentioned above - for highlight and glow
- Essence xxl shine lipgloss in timeless beauty (a shimmery light pink color)

the glow on my skin I wore everyday with both the same highlighter and blush
On the second Christmas Day I wore a light Cranberry look, really settle, just to give a hint of the color :) I kept the lips pretty simple and made a really warm glow on my cheeks again :)

These are the products I used:
- RdL eyeshadow in 02 sun (a shimmery light champagne gold color) on the lid
- Catrice Carame LE eyeshadow in C03 Spiced Red (a cranberry color) in the crease
- no name reddish brown eyeshadow in the outer corner
- Essence eyeliner pen in black as very thin eyeliner
- RdLY diamond mascara in black on upper and lower lashes
- MNY blush in 301 (a peachy pink gold color)
- RdL eyeshadow in 02 sun (a shimmery light champagne gold color) - as mentioned above - for highlight and glow
- Essence xxl shine lipgloss in timeless beauty (a shimmery light pink color)

And that's what I wore! As you might notice from the pics, I got my camera for Christmas, so you'll get better pictures in the future! I'm still experiementing with it :)
See ya!

Christmas Tag No. 2! + MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Hey there!
This is another Christmas tag, I enjoy doing them a lot!

1)Which Holiday do you celebrate?
I celebrate Christmas :)
2)What are you doing for the holidays this year?
I'm spending the holidays with my family.
3)Favorite Holiday Drink?
I like a lot, just like hot chocolate and tea :) Anything hot and yummy!
4)Candy cane or Gingerbread men?
Gingerbread men all the way! Although I don't like the taste of it too much, I just think that gingerbread men are way cuter than candy canes!
5)Favorite Holiday/Christmas song?
Last Christmas by Wham!...As well as Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy of the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky.
6)Weirdest gift you have received?
I don't know...I've always gotten presents I like :)
7)Have you ever made a snowman?
Yes, sure I have! Where I live it snows every year, and we build snowmen all the time :) It's always fun for all of us.
8)Favorite winter fragrance?
Orange and gingerbread, as I told you in the other tag :)
9)What is at the top of your list this christmas?
This year I asked for a nice camera :) I hope I'll get one! You'll notice whether I got one when my pictures get better or stay the same ;)
10)What is most important to you about the holidays?
To me, it's all about family and being and spending time together. That's what I love about the holidays!

I hope you will do this tag too, it's always interesting!

Happy Holidays everyone! I'm taking a little break from blogging now, I'm sure you'll understand that, everyone wants to spend the holidays with their family! I won't blog again before December 27th, but I'll see you after that!
I hope all of you have a great time, enjoy the holidays as much as I do, and spend that time with the ones you love :)
Merry Christmas everyone!
xoxo, Misch

Snowflakes

This is another design I made a few years ago. Posting it now seemed very appropriate to me, cause it's snowing very much in Holland. This is one of my favourite designs so far! Sadly it wasn't my own idea, it's a remake from this video tutorial on YouTube. Read Full...

NOTD December 23rd: Fun Christmas Designs!!

Hey there!
It's almost Christmas, I'm so excited! And to get even more into the Christmas mood, I painted my nails with various Christmas designs :) I had so many ideas, but not enough time to do them all, so I did a different design on every nail!
These are the ones I did:

right hand:
thumb: Christmas tree
index: penguin with hat
middle: candy canes
ring: reindeer/moose (don't really know what it is...)
pinkie: Christmas hat
right hand without thumb
left hand:
left hand without thumb
thumb: present
index: snowman
middle: Santa's coat with belt
ring: holly leaves (are they called like that?)
pinkie: colored lights
It would be crazy to tell you all of the steps to create every single one of these, so I won't do it...if you want to know how to do a certain one or which products I used, leave a comment or send me an email at mischsbeautyblog@googlemail.com with your request :) I would like to help you about, but I have no idea which one you want to know about!
I even borrowed my Dad's camera to do some pictures for you, because my regular pictures aren't that great, but I wanted them to be really focused so you're able to see the details :)
my thumbs: a present and a tree :)

What are you wearing on your nails for Christmas? Anything special?
By the way, I'm planning on taking pictures of my Christmas looks on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after that. Are you interested in that? That would make three Christmas looks, just in a little summary :) Wanna see that?

I hope you liked it, and I'll see you tomorrow for a last time before I take a little break over the holidays :)

all of them except for the thumbs

Snowman!

Hello guys! i had long day yesterday and really needed long relaxing time as mind and body. Today i back to create a nail art :).  Still in christmas theme, so i made snowman nail art. I done both of my hands but the right hand isnt as good as the left hand. and it took me hours to finish because i was really slow doing my right hand. And actually i hate it, its so pain to painting by left hand .

So for this nail art, i started with base coat from Pixy, 3 coats of Blowfish Blue from LA Splash, white polish for snowman, black polish for eyes and hat , red for shawl and BL601 from The Faceshop for the snow.

NOTD December 21st: Star Design

Hi there!
The next design for Christmas is this one: Stars!

That's what you need:
- a base coat (as always, Essence pro white french)
- a gold polish (I used OPI Risin Star from the Burlesque Collection)
- a dark shimmery blue color (I used Essence top speed polish in 26 look at me, it's been discontinued for a while now)
- a nail art brush or toothpick to create the stars
- a top coat (as always, Essence sealing topcoat)

That's how to do it:
1. Use a top coat to protect your natural nails.
2. Paint 3 of your nails gold and the other 2 dark blue.
3. Pour some gold polish onto a piece of paper, pick it up with a brush or toothpick and draw some pretty stars onto the blue nails. Just create them randomly, they don't have to be perfect, and do as many as fit your nail, I did 3 to 5.
4. Pour some of the blue polish onto the paper and pick it up with a clean toothpick or brush. Then draw some stars onto the gold nails :) I only did one on the gold nails to not overwhelm it :)
5. Seal with a top coat to make it last longer.

I'm sorry for the bad pictures, lightning is so bad at my place in winter!
This is my design of today :) Hope you like it!
Bye, Misch

First christmas nails

It's nearly christmas, so it's about time for some christmas nails on this blog! These nails are one of the first nail art designs I ever made, possibly even the very first! I made them for christmas a couple of years ago. I used a white striper and a silver/glitter one. It's not perfect, but I find that kinda charming for this design. I still like it! Read Full...

NOTD December 19th: Snowflake Design

Hey guys!
Today's another nail art design, I'm having a lot of ideas for this season, so I change my nails every few days, and I want to show them all to you!

That's what you need:
- base coat (mine is Essence pro white french)
- lilac polish (I used OPI Do you lilac it?)
- a silver-champagne color (I used Essence Fairytale LE - 02 pixie dust)
- a white color (I used the Essence tip painter in white)
- a silver polish (I used Jesse's Girl in North Star)
- a nail art brush or toothpick to create the design
- a purple color (I used Essie Sexy Divide)
- a top coat (I used Essence Sealing Top Coat)

That's how to do it:
1. Paint all your nails with a base coat to protect the natural nail.

2. Paint some of your nails with the lilac color, some with the champagne.
3. For the nails with the lilac color on them:
we're going to create snowflakes on these nails. You can do how many you like, I always did some in white and some in silver. I did a little graphic on how to create them:
place the snowflakes wherever you want, they can overlap each other if you like that.
4. For the nails with the silver-champagne color on them:
I decided to do these differently so the design wasn't that simple. I just took the purple polish and draw one to two stripes across the nails. You can also do these with the snowflake design, depends on what you like.
5. Seal everything with your top coat.

And that's it! You can also do just one of the two things I did, I just wanted to put a little twist to it :)
Hope you liked it!
xoxo, Misch

NOTD December 17th: Jesse's Girl - North Star

Hey there!

Today I'm wearing Jesse's Girl Nail Polish in North Star. I already told you several times that I love this color so much :) It's perfectly opaque with just one coat and so so pretty, the perfect winter color. The color doesn't last that long, you can already see tipwear after two days (with topcoat), but it's fine :)

Do you also like this color? I hope so :)
See ya later!

NOTD December 15th: Reindeer Glitter Nail Art + Spotted

Hey everyone!
Today I'm wearing a Christmas Nail Art design and I thought you might like it! :)

That's what you need:
- a base coat of your choice (mine is the Essence Pro White French)
- a white color to do the french tip (I used the Essence Stampy polish)
- nail stickers with a christmas design (mine are reindeer designs, and I got these from Essence's last year's christmas collection)
- a glittery with a clear base (I used the pink glitter polish from one of RdLY LE, forgot the name of it, sorry :P but it's from this season. the color is called o1 glamour pink. The glitter in it is round and pink, but flashes rainbow-colored in the sunlight)
- a top coat of you choice (I used the Essence Sealing top coat)

That's how to do it:
1. Paint your nails with your base coat.
2. Do a white french tip, I did mine free-hand, but you can use some guides as a help. The ones I created are pretty straight, but you can do yours curvy if you like to :)
3. Paint one coat of the glitter polish over your whole nails.
4. Put a nail sticker (in my case a reindeer) on every of you nail and press it in.
5. Go over the whole nail with your glitter polish again. It shouldn't be covered with the glitter, though, just some little dots, like snowflakes!
5. Seal the design with yout top coat.

This is so easy to create, you don't have to be really good at nail art for this, but it's still pretty :) I hope you like it!
just to show you the sparkle of it :)

I also was at the drugstore and spotted some LEs :) Of course I bought something, but that post will be up tomorrow. Here are just the pictures:
