January Favs :)

Hey there,
here are my Favorites of the month of January :)
This month there are a lot of things that I liked, but as you can see, they're pretty much all in the same color sceme. Oh well, I like that this month :) I also added some non-beauty favs. And sorry, I forgot some things on the main picture, so there you have some extra ones ;)

Essence Bronzing Compact Powder - I've been liking to contour my face and use this one for that purpose!

MNY Blush 301 - A really pretty peachy-pink color that gives a nice glow to my cheeks. Used it a lot! :)

Alverde Baked Blush Peach - A gorgeous color that I love love love <3

Catrice Urban Baroque LE Illuminating Powder - I used this highlighter every single day, it's perfect for everyday, and the design is adorable :) *click* for a review

p2 perfect look kajal in 02 brown - I used this for pretty much any everyday look I did, it lasts very long, even on your waterline :) Review is coming soon :)

Astor Mattitude HD Foundation - My new foundation that I love :) Review is coming up!

DKNY Be Delicious Perfume - I got it for Christmas and used it regularly ever since <3 great scent :)

Essence Secrets of the Past Palette 02 babuschka's dream - it's pretty old from a limited edition, but I liked it a lot on an every-day basis :)

Harry Potter - When I was little, I used to love love love Harry Potter. I was totally convinced that one day I'll go to Hogwarts and all that kinda stuff. Well, this month I started reading and watching it again, and I still love it <3 Wanna hear more about my Harry Potter story?? Btw, in the pic you can see Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as DVDs, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as a book <3

New Year's Eve 2010

Hey guys,
I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve last night and already recovered a little from the fun parties you hopefully had :) Happy New Year of 2011 everyone! Let's make the best possible out of it!

I haven't really a whole post for today, I'll just show you some pictures from last night :)

The make-up I wore was navy blue smokey eyes and they were inspired by this video by Tiffany D *click*
The lighting was pretty bad, so I don't really have good pictures for you, sorry :P I just used some products from my personal collection, feel free to ask if you want to know about a certain thing :)

My nails were a little nail art piece, I just draw some designs on some of my nails. I draw 2 champagne glasses, and some random luck symbols.

These are just a few pictures from the firework last night. I had a ton of fun trying out to capture them with my new camera, and some of them got really pretty :)

What was your New Year's Eve like? Did you enjoy yourself? I hope so!

Little Update on Project Use It Up! + a Thank You

Hello Dear Readers,

I just wanted to give you a little update on my project Use It Up!. In this post I introduced you to the project, but I just didn't stick to the rules...I don't know, that wasn't really something for me...I just can't stop buying things...but I try to think about everything I wanna get whether I really need it or not :) Well, as you might notice, I haven't been posting about this project at all...the last time was in October! Truth is, I haven't forgotten about it, and I have been using up some stuff lately, I just always forgot to either take pictures or blog about it :P Shame on me! But I will keep on doing it, mainly because this gives me a nice overview on how many stuff I actually use up... Well, now I got an idea and I hope you'll be fine with it: I'm going to "collect" the things I use up and do a post about them all. I don't think I'll be able to do this monthly, because I'm not that good at using stuff up :P But I'll show them to you every now and then! D'accord?

Also, I want to thank you guys: I have 4 subscribers now and I want to thank all of you :) Also, please do leave some comments, because that's what helps a blog! So Disappointed

Hi Ladies... I feel so bad at this moment for I thought I already won on the Halloween nail art CONTEST that I joined.. it's all because the host of the contest already email me and told me that I won on her contest after counting all the VALID VOTES and asked for my mailing address..and so i replied and gave my mailing address but then after a few hours the host email me again and telling me that she just realized that she didn't specified on her voting rules that private profile is not counted and only fair to award the prize to the most number of votes..the other participant has the most number of votes but most of her votes are came from a private profile were u can't access the profile...she has 3 votes ahead on me.. and its ok.. its just that I don't understand why would email me to tell me that i won on her contest and asked for my mailing address then suddenly she email me again and she's retrieving all the things she said...I am not sure what would I feel on that time but I'm so disappointed...I dont know what u will feel if this kind of experience happen to u..have u experience this kind of situation? anyways... though I didnt win I still feel so happy for u my lovelies were always been very supportive to me in every contest I'd joined.. thank u so much for all ur comments and compliments..let me leave this simple lines for all of u...

quick post!!

Hi ladies.. just a quick post...im still out of town and will be back in Manila for a couple of days.. today I received a comment from SARA and Sara told me that there's someone who's using my photo and I checked the link.thank u Sara for the link I really dont have any idea on this... and I am really surprised when I saw my photos on the other blog...I really dont know what would I react.. Im not even sure if I would be flattered for from so many nail art photos on the net, she choose mine to upload on her blog...and it means she likes my designs... but then, One thing for sure I dont like the idea of removing my watermarks and replace it.. if u like to save or upload my photo ur free to do that but pls dont remove my water marks and replace it and claimed it as ur own nail art design!! just give a little RESPECT!! STEALING IS A CRIME!!

Update: Problems, Thoughts, Ideas, ...

Hi guys,

I have a few things I'm thinking about and I thought I would share them.

First of all, I spotted the new Essence permanent line, but just a part of it. Weirdly, my drugstore just had a part of it, the part with the nail stuff. But nothing of the basic stuff was there, none of the lipsticks or anything. So I thought I might wait until I spot the rest of the new permanent line before I show you what I got. But on the other hand, I want to review one of the things I got after I tried it out. So what do you want? See it after I saw everything and wait with the haul and the reviews, or see it now and get a second part? Tell me!

Then I have another little problem: I want to try out some fun looks, do some EOTDs for you and for that I only have time on the weekend, because I go to school everyday, just do a really basic make-up and then I'm too tired to do another look when I get home. But on the other hand I want to do the weekend free of any make-up, because I wear it to school everday and I want to give my skin the chance to relax and to recover. So how should I handle it? Should I keep the make-up away from my weekend and are you fine with not seeing that many EOTDs? Or should I do one weekend make-up, one make-up free? Or maybe one day make-up, one without? I have so totally no idea and I'd like to know what you think about it.

I have a little plan going on in my head: Halloween Make-up Tutorials. I really like the idea of doing something totally crazy and exaggerated, because Halloween is the perfect opportunity for that! I thought about staring it by the beginning of October, so I can do a few and if you like them, you already have something you know about ahead of time. But I'm not planning to everything - costume, hair, and all of that stuff. Just make-up. Would you like to see that? Or do you think I should skip on that because a lot of people are already doing it? This would of course happen on the weekend (just to get on with the problem I mentioned above) but I would really think it's fun. If no one responds to this, I'll go ahead and do it, so if you really don't want to see it, tell me! ;)

Another idea I had was blogging about fashion. Not totally overwhelming, since this is meant to be a Beauty Blog, but I thought it would be fun to show you fashion hauls, or how I would wear some things together, or what I thought of fashion week...Does that sound interesting?

Last but not least, I'm gonna have a dancing course and a prom (althought it isn't really prom...let's just call it like that) and would like to know if you want to see the make-up I'm wearing for that, although it's not really prom season. Any opinions on that?

Update (I guess...!?)

Hey Beauties,

I just wanted to let you know that school starts for me tomorrow and that's why I might not be able to write a new blog post every day. So, don't be mad at me for being MIA (it means missing in action, just in case you don't know).
I guess I'm pretty much one of the last persons to start school again, but it's like that here :)

Since most of us have to go to school now again (or to work), I would like to know if I should do some neutral eyes and some looks for school with just essecntials so it's affordable for everyone. Do you like that idea? Or do you want to see anything else? Maybe how to make colors wearable for everyday?

Please guys, if you have any ideas, tell me! It doesn't matter what it is, if you want a review, a look, something! Just leave a comment :)

Jesse's Girl Haul!! :)

I'm sorry for posting another haul, but I'm super excited about this, so don't be angry! :)

I ordered some stuff from Jesse's Girl less than two weeks ago and it already arrived (that's pretty fast considering that it was shipped from the United States to Germany)!

I already played around with the stuff a bit, and it's so good quality for so little money!

That's what I got:

- North Star (a shimmery silver color, extremely pigmented (onecoater, yay!) and super easy to apply)

- Blue Moon (a shimmery purple-ish indigo color, opaque with two coats)

- Garnet (a jelly-like garnet/burgundy color, opaque with two coats)

Jesse's Girl Mini Eye Compact #2 [Price: it's on sale because it'll be discontinued, so it's just 2.50 US-Dollar]

(a mini palette with ten cream eyeshadows in white, light pink, limegreen, peach, light blue, brown, orange, dark blue, black and dark red; all are shimmery)

Jesse's Girl Mini Lipgloss Collection #1 [Price: it's on sale because it'll be discontinued, so it's just 2.50 US-Dollar]

(a mini palette with ten lipglosses that are mainly red but it also contains a few pink shades)

The company was also kind enough to send me some Eye Dust samples, so I got every color except for Angelic and Kiwi Rose in sample size (that are 26 colors!!)

I'm sorry I didn't swatch the palettes, but they don't contain enough!

I ordered from Jesse's Girl Cosmetics and even shipping to Germany was pretty inexpensive, just 8.95 US-Dollar! I really think it's a great company, so good stuff for so little money! This was my first order there and I'll purchase some more stuff pretty soon, because it's so great! They have a lot more things and I'll try that out! I'm back!

Hey guys,

I'm back from Italy!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm back again and that I'm starting to post again! I do have a mini haul for you guys and I'm also gonna tell you what I think of Italian make-up brands, stores and so on, but that'll be a different post. Here I just wanted to show you some pictures I took in Italy. Don't be afraid, the make-up posts will be back soon, I just haven't had enough time or nice light to take pictures of my haul, but that'll come tomorrow, I promise!

I was at the beach near Caorle, and I also got to see Venice! It was so nice weather most of the time and I hung out at the beach all day long! I love Italy so much, as well as the sea!
