This month there are a lot of things that I liked, but as you can see, they're pretty much all in the same color sceme. Oh well, I like that this month :) I also added some non-beauty favs. And sorry, I forgot some things on the main picture, so there you have some extra ones ;)
Let's get started, shall we?! ;)

Alverde Baked Blush Peach - A gorgeous color that I love love love <3

Catrice Urban Baroque LE Illuminating Powder - I used this highlighter every single day, it's perfect for everyday, and the design is adorable :) *click* for a review

DKNY Be Delicious Perfume - I got it for Christmas and used it regularly ever since <3 great scent :)

Well, this month I started reading and watching it again, and I still love it <3 Wanna hear more about my Harry Potter story?? Btw, in the pic you can see Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as DVDs, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as a book <3

A lot, huh?! What were your favs of the month of January? I'd like to know!

Best of Beauty/ Favorites of 2010!

Hey there!
I know a lot of beauty gurus already did their favorites of the year of 2010 in the last days of that year, but I decided to do that now, since the new year has started! These are my favorites of the whole year instead of only the ones for the month of December :)
I will also sometimes mention just brands, because I got to know them this year and liked them. Here we go, my favorites:

- Jesse's Girl Stuff: I placed my first order there in summer this year, and I really like their stuff! So pretty colors, and great quality!

just some of my Jesse's Girl stuff
- The "NEW" Catrice: Catrice changed their whole nail polish line in spring of 2010, made so pretty colors, and then this fall they changed almost all of the rest of their line, and it's so good! The quality got so much better, it's amazing! Catrice is my favorite drugstore brand :)
some things from the whole great catrice stuff
- OPI nail polishes: This is another brand I discovered in 2010, and OPI is just so amazing :) Unfortunately a bit pricey in Germany, and now Coty bought it, so the polishes will probably get tested on animals :P but I still loved it this year.

just some of my OPI polishes to stand for them all
- China Glaze nail polishes: Discovered them in 2010 and immediately fell in love! So good quality and amazing colors :)
just 2 of my china glaze polishes to stand for them all
- Nivea Ideal Finish Foundation: This is actually the first foundation I ever bought, and I love it! I expected to have to look around and try different stuff until I find my favorite foundation, but I already did :) Here I wrote a review on it.
YAY!
- Essence Eyeliner Pen: I love this one so much because it is a felt-tip liner which is so easy to use! You can create the thinnest lines that are still opaque, I love it!

love it!

- Catrice Lipstick in Ocean Sunrise from the Oceana LE: Such a pretty color, a reddish pink, which I wore a lot in summer, fall and winter! So so pretty :)
pretty pretty lip color :)
- Blush and Highlighting Products: I love it! I fell in love with cheek products in 2010, especially blush and highlighters :) Glowy cheeks all the way! :)

just one of my favorite highlighting products
- Yves Rocher Summer Perfume "Aquarelles Vegetales": Y'all know that I love love love this perfume, I've been wearing it so often and can't get enough of it :)
yummy yummy scent <3

- Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara: This is my go-to mascara, I use it all the time and always buy a new bottle after I finished one :) Perfect mascara for me!
great stuff!
I think that's what they are, my favs for the whole year of 2010 :)
What were you're favorites? I'm sure I forgot about a lot, but I remember these the most :) You want a review of anything?
See ya,

Haul Saturdays - Volume 15

Welcome to Volume 15 of Haul Saturdays - a weekly post chronicling whatever beauty related purchases I made throughout that week.

This week I didn't think I would have much of anything to show you guys but I dropped by Winners last night and came across a treasure of Color Club Collection sets. They were all so cheap that I couldn't pass any of them up! They also had a small selection of China Glaze so I grabbed a few of those as well.

Also, I'm slowly trying to get all of the China Glaze polishes from the OMG collection that I missed out on without paying ridiculous prices and whenever I come across them on eBay for retail (or less), I snag them up.

Winners:
• Color Club Untamed Luxury (Indulgence) set (unfortunately they didn't have the Diamonds set)
• Color Club Wild At Heart set
• Color Club Pardon My French set
• Color Club Poptastic set
• Color Club All About Color set (this doesn't seem to be an actual collection so I'm guessing that it's just 7 colours from the brand's base set)
• China Glaze Reggae to Riches and B-Girlz polishes

eBay:
• China Glaze IDK and LOL polishes

Shopper's Drug Mart:
• Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume

See pictures of all of the Color Club sets after the jump.

September 2010 Favorites

Hey guys,
September's already over and now it's really getting fall - grey and rainy outside, but really cozy inside: it's time for spending the evenings in front of the TV, drinking a cup of hot tea:) I love love love this season so much

Evian facial spray - this stuff is so amazing :) it moisturizes, refreshes and cares my skin so well, and the mist is so fine. I used it several times a day, and I'm almost out of it :( I'll get a new one, though :)

TheBodyShop Born Lippy lipbalm in raspberry - I really like this lip balm, it tastes great, cares my lips and gives a nice pink shine. Definitely a fav.

Yves Rocher Aquarelles Vegetales Perfume - Y'all know that I love this scent so much - and I still do :) I used it a lot during this month.

Essence Soft Matt eyeshadow in 03 Silky Smooth - School started again for me this month and so I had to do a lot of nude looks everday and this eyeshadow was my go-to color. It's a matte chocolate brown, perfect to fill in my eyebrows, to darken up my outer corner or to simply shade my crease. This color is so convenient!

Beliance Foundation Brush - This brush is perfect to apply my foundation, I really like it!

Jesse's Girl Enamel in Garnet - This is such a perfect color for fall :) it looks very similar to Chanel Rouge Noir and I love it

p2 nail polish thinner - I had a lot of problems with too thick nail polishes this month and this one helped me a lot.

My Uggs - These aren't real Ugg Boots, but I still love them. So cute shoes :)

McDonalds Mocha Frappe - I love McDonalds Mocha Frappe so much (I kinda love everything in this post...), it tastes so amazing

So guys, these were my favs for the month of September. What were yours?
xoxo, Misch

Review: Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Cherry Set

I just recently got the new set by Yves Rocher, the Bigarreau Cherry Line. A shower gel, a lipgloss and a perfume are available and they're all supposed to smell like cherry. If you don't know what Yves Rocher is, you should check out their online store. It's basically a beauty store from France that sells natural cosmetics with mostly botancial-based ingredients.
I'm gonna tell you what I think of the products!

First, the shower gel. It contains 13.5 fl oz and if you buy it separately, you'll pay 4,95 Euros.

++POSITIVE++
+ contains botanical-based ingredients
+ lathers very well
+ scent stays on your body for something around 2 hours
+ the price is OK
+ nice, gel-like formula

--NEGATIVE--
- scent is a bit unnatural
- it's hard to get out the right amount because the cap is so huge

I think it's a nice product and if you like the scent, get it. But there are other alternatives available.

Second, the perfume. It contains 0.67 fl oz and if you buy it separately, you'll pay 3,50 Euros.

++POSITIVE++
+the scent is the perfect cherry scent in my opinion. It's not too sweet and not too heavy, it's just really good
+ the price is OK
+ botanical-based ingredients
+ the bottle is really cute (I'm a sucker for cute packaging)

--NEGATIVE--
- the scent doesn't stay so long, just for something around three hours

I really like this perfume and I've been using it regularly now.

Last, the lipgloss. It contains 0.34 fl oz and if you buy it separately, you'll pay 2.95 Euros. It's in a tube.

++POSITIVE++
+ the color is a nice red without shimmer/glitter
+ easy application because of the tube form
+ nice, gel-like formula
+ stays for something around two hours when you don't eat or drink anything
+ botanical-based ingredients
+ the price is OK

--NEGATIVE--
- the scent/taste is a mix between cherry and soap water, I don't like that

It's a nice lipgolss in my opinion, and if you don't mind a weird taste, it's definitely worth to look at.

BOTTOM LINE: I think this collection is nice with a few little negative points. When you are at a Yves Rocher store, definitely look at it and smell it. My favorite out of this collection is the perfume. I got it in a kit by my friends and I don't know the price of the kit and I can't find it at the website.

I hope you all enjoyed this review and I hope I helped you out!
xoxo, Misch

Another Haul :)

Hey guys,
so I went shopping with my friend this weekend. Since I live in a small town we decided to go to a bigger town with more stores by train. Unfortunately, I had a headache all day long and my stomach hurt, so it wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be. But we still enjoyed ourselves, although I was pretty disappointed. I didn't find any cute clothes!! :P That never happened to me before :P
By the way: I'm sorry for posting that many hauls recently, I just have some money right now from my birthday:) I'm not doing my hauls to brag about the things I can afford, I just want to show you want kind of things I like to buy. And if you want hear a bit more about certain products, feel free to tell me! I'll review it :)
So, let's get started with the haul:
I went to a dm, a H&M and a Yves Rocher and bought the following stuff:
- P2 Color Victim Nail Polish in 143 Forever. It's a nude brown tone, one of the kind that I don't really have that much in my collection. I already swatched it on my nail wheel and I like the formula.
- Alverde Gel Eyeliner in 01 Black and the Gel Eyeliner Brush. These are my first products from Alverde. I tried it today and I really like the consistency. The brush is really good, too. It's soft but at the same time very "resistant" (I don't really know how to describe it). You can draw very thin lines with the brush. I even did sports today and the eyeliner lasted all day long and it's not that hard to remove.
Alverde also has some other colors of gel eyeliner in their sortiment and I'll definitively try them out!!
- Balea Young Cleansing Makeup Wipes for combination oily skin. The wipes have a citrusy scent and they remove the makeup pretty well. You can also use these wipes for waterproof makeup.
- H&M nail polish in Sinful Senorita. It's a pink with I ton of glitter and I adore it!! I swatched it on my nail wheel and it's so awesome!! It's a holo and I think it looks like an OPI Suede color but without the matte finish!! (I do own an OPI Suede)
- Yves Rocher Flower Party Perfume and Shower Gel. I really liked the scent of this one when I tried it out, but I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed. The nice floral and fruity scent is gone super quickly and you can just smell vanilia. However, the shower gel which I got for free smells great.
- Yves Rocher Almond Lip Balm. It's my favorite lip balm ever and I just bought a backup. It's perfect!!
- Yves Rocher Box with Q-Tips, cotton balls and cotton pads in it. I got it as a present.

Sorry for the weird background on the picture, I took it at my friend's place.
So, I hope you enjoyed this post and I'll see you soon!!
Bye, Misch

Disclaimer: Nothing was sent to my for free and I'm not payed by any company. This is all my honest opinion. Read Full...

Duping Dior

So I saw this crazy bargain on another blog a few months back. For the life of me I cant remember who it was,but I will find out and I will link them, because credit is due. EDIT:It was beautylicious love.

I have always been a fan of Dior perfumes,my favourites being miss dior cherie and addict. But when they run out im not about to hit the shops to casually part with £40.I need dupes, that I can spray until my hearts content, without worrying about the cost.

I previously used soap and glory's body mists,a lovey dupe for dior cherie. But now theres something new in town.

That lovely bottle up top is called Diamonds, and its available from next (yes next) for the lovely price of £6.

When I smelt the tester I was overly excited. If this was in a dior cherie bottle,I wouldnt be able to tell the difference.

To make it even better, its an eau de perfume,so the scent will last and linger for quite some time.

I had to share this, because its definately worth checking out.

Have any of you tried this yet,or could you recomend any other bargain dupes I should check out?

Armani ACQUA di GIOIA

Last week I attended the Armani launch for their new fragrance ACQUA di GIOIA.It was really nice and im glad I was given the opportunity to go.There was only about 7 of us in all.

It was held in the terrace suit of the Soho Hotel, and might I just add (oh my gosh) I would of happily lived in the living room sized bathroom that had a nice plasma above the bath. They also had fresh fruit, sandwiches and cakes laid out for us,which I thought was nice.

So onto the fragrance. To my nose, this fragrance is very fresh and summery. With high notes of crushed mint with a zest of lemon transforming into middle notes of water jasmine and its base of brown sugar, cedarwood and labdanum.

I really like the fresh scent of this and im quite hard to please when it comes to perfume. It also lasts quite long too.I sprayed it on me at the event when it was around 4.30pm,when I was taking myself to bed at around 11.30pm I could still smell it.I wish I could spray it through my computer for you all to smell.

They also gave us a bag containing a 50ml bottle of the fragrance(so kind),as if the invite wasn't enough. Its a bit of an exclusive as it isn't actually released until July.

RRP
30ml £33 50ml £43.50 100ml £60.00

I will definitely be reserving this for summer nights out, well I might have a spray or two now :D

Whats your favourite scent at the moment?

p.s for some reason blogger isnt letting me reply to comments on my posts : (,so if you have a question to ask me please do it through twitter,my links on the left hand side of the page
