Hi guys,
Here is my video on update in my life...
As I explain in the video,
I do not wear acrylic nails on my hands any more.
Since I have extremely sensitive skin,
I developed a minor allergy to the acrylic product.
Even then, I was doing my clients' nails and I would do some 3D nail art using acrylic still by being careful not to touch the product.
However,
it was not very good for the environment of my house and my health.
Around the same time,
the situation in my life turned around and I no longer work as a nail tech any more.
I used to do nails quite a bit and I loved doing them on people,
but I was a little bit relieved to take a break.
Because of this situation,
I actually have no chance to use acrylic anymore either since I dont even have a client.
I still LOVE nail art.
It has been always my passion.
I love beauty and art.
So,
it is actually nice to enjoy and be creative about my art passion without worrying about clients and business.
That is why
I don't upload too much of fake nail designs on blogs or my youtube channel lately.
but I will still do them sometimes...! just not as often as before! ;)
I wasn't sure if any of you would care to hear about this...
but I got several questions & requests for acrylic tutorials and I felt that I should just explain! :):)

Also....
Im into having natural nails & be creative with them.
It is limited since you would have non-perfect shaped nails like fake nails, right?
but,
in that category, it is like a challenge and fun to create some wearable nail art.:)
I think that's what I am into recently :)

I am getting more and more into skin care & face makeup products.
What I care most about my face is.... SKIN condition.
I think that's what I notice most when I see people too!
So, I love to experiment and investigate about skincare and face makeup.

Review on Confessions of a Concealerholic by BENEFIT
Hi!!
So, continuing from the last post,
this is concealer related post :) lol
As some of you guys know,
I got Benefit product called "Confessions of a Concealaholic" latey.
This is a good kit for those of you who is addicted to concealing!! (like me!!lol)
It contains:

I was so excited :):)
I have tried all of them.
What I fell in love with is
It has such a salmony colour to it.
It is a perfect consistency.
I heard that it crease too easy and stuff...
but for me, this kind of rich cream consistency works better for my dry skin.
It is extremely easy to blend, and it does not cake on.
I LOVE IT!
I heard so many good things about Boi-ing concealer as a under eye concealer...
but
I honestly cannot get it work for undereye.
It is waxy and smooth, but it does not blend that well on the skin under my eyes.
it works fantastically for my blemishes though!! I mix these two colours and I can hide imperfections !! YAY :)
For the face primer and the Eye brightener, I don't see any special things about them...
For the primer, it does the job, but I have other primers that I can use.
and for the eye brightener,
I am not sure if I would use it much... it is very thick and dry and it does not go on well on my eye lid...

though!!
It is such a nice eye shadow primer!
the colour yellow makes my eyelid brighter and it makes the perfect canvas to put eye makeup on :):)

Im happy that I purchased this product since I got to try out the product and now I know that I will re-purchase ERASE PASTE and probably boi-ing for blemishes & lemon aid!!

I only used it once so far, but I love it!!!
It is most creamiest thing!! I think I like this kind of tube cream one over a pot concealer or stick concealer.
It is much easier to blend. :)
I also am loving a foundation by Lancome called Renergie Lift makeup.
This is the best foundation I ever tried!!!
I love it!!!!! I will do a review after I try it for a while ;)

Here is a review on Maybelline dream mousse concealer and blush.
I wanted to try these products for a while now, and finally I did...
It was around $10 each... which is not that cheap for drugstore items.
I am super happy with the blush because it is illuminating and it is perfect for summer.
I dont use finishing powder during summer, so I personally like cream blush
so this was a perfect choice!!
Concealer was OKAY.... not too exciting though.
it cakes on to fine lines on undereye...
and if I try to blend it out with brush, it goes away and does not leave any coverage.
For the blush,
I use Sigma stippling brush to apply.
and
For the concealer,
I use Sigma blending brush to apply.

Rice Bran Bag Face cleansing!!!
so,,,
if you are on my facebook page,
you might know already...
but I have been using this Rice bran bag Face cleansing stuff from Japan.
(Nukabukuro)
and
I LOVE IT!
My aunt gave one for me because I told her that climate here in BC, Canada is so dry that I have had so much dry skin on my face.
then, she suggested me this Nukabukuro to me because she and her daughters use it and they have really moisturized soft skin.
Essentially,
this is a cotton bag full of Fine milled rice bran.
it actually smells like baby powder too!
So, every night, you soak this bag and gently massage your face with this bag.
and then rinse with water.
It feels so soft.
It is not sticky but it has creamy feel to it.
After one use,
I noticed my skin was very moist already.
It is all natural so I haven't got any break out either.
It is very gentle but leaves your skin so soft and fine.
My face feels better and skin looks brighter :)
I was so impressed with this rice power!!!! :) :) :)

I dont know if we can get this anywhere in the world.
but I read that you could make it by yourself.
or.
just rice water is good for you too.

REVIEW: Nice Red Lipstick Find !!
Hi,
I have been trying to upload a YT video since last night
but Youtube is not letting me upload.... 'error' comes up everytime..
So I decided to make a different blog post today :)

I found my favorite line of lipsticks!!!
They are called
HIGH IMPACT LIPSTICK
I got them from a beauty distributer in my town,
so I don't think it is a regular public makeup company.
It does not have any company logo but when I was researching online,
and I found out that the brand is called
Borghese.
I usually go there to get nail supplies for my job,
but sometimes, I walk around to see the hair and makeup sections as well.
Many makeup products there are good quality and a bit pricy,
so I wasn't going to get pallete or foundation or anything because they are professional line and I dont know how to use them.
But I thought I could use a lipstick!! :)
I picked up a couple of different colours.
One of them was this RED LIPSTICK!!
The name is Torch
It is a very pretty coral red colour.
It is bright but not dark, so it is a very sexy pretty colour.
I would say it is perfect for Pin Up girl look.
Here is what it looks like.
and the swatch is here.
I am wearing this lipstick because I just finished a dress rehearsal for my dance show.
I'm wearing crazy makeup with big winged eyeliners and a lot of blush and red lipstick.
Everyone thought this shade of lipstick was cute, so I wanted to share.
This definately stands out on the stage because it is very bright.
but it has a youth feel to it:)
Plus, the colour goes on sooooo smooth and it is super pigmented. You need one or two coats and they look perfect!!!
I love it so much that I might wear it for a normal use too.
ALSOOOOOOO,
I have another reason why I LoVE this lipstick besides the pigmentation!
It is so MOIST!!!
I was like WOW! My lips feel soooooo soft right now.
I didn't even use a chapstick today!
Even though it is moisturizing, it is not too sticky so it stays well.
I actually was dancing and being busy backstage all morning and I did not have to re-do my lipstick even once...!!!!

MAC Haul!! pink pink pink!!!!!!

I was always in a hunt for a nice baby pink blush.
I tried many different brands... but I could never get the right one...
They were either too shimmery or a tad darker or something.
Today, my hubbie and I went to grab some quick dinner
and we decided to stop by at a mall.
We NEVER go to a mall usually because we both don't like a crowded place.
but today we felt like it it so I was like "YAAY this is a good chance to go to the MAC store!!" :)
Im pretty sure my husband regretted for going into a mall with me... haha
anyways!!
at the MAC store,
I found this CUTE blush!
Im sure everyone knows about it already...
but I am kind of a newbie in makeup =)
the colour is called Pink Swoon.
Its just soooo cute ♥
LOVE IT! ♥ ♥ ♥

I was so happy and i was in PINK mood,
so I also picked up a baby pink lipstick called CREAM CUP

good thing I have a mac pro card. hahaha...
it is dangerous to go to mac, everything look so good there!

I have been trying MUFE HD foundation and Maybelline SuperStay foundation.
So far, they are both such good moisturizing foundations.

Info on MAC PRO card
Hi !!
Today, I am going to talk about MAC PRO card.
I was so shocked to know how easy it is to get it.
Lots of people on youtube were getting MAC pro card,
so I just thought I'd give it a try.
It was very very simple and easy!!
First of all,
everything you need to know is on their MAC PRO website.
All you need is:
- Application form
- a piece of ID
- 2 pieces of proof. (certificate, business license, business card, letter from a client, business website address, portfolio, etc.)
After you get one,
You can shop either online at MACPRO.COM or at their shops.
(You need to bring your ID with you if you are going to a store)
The coolest thing I saw on their website is that
when you shop and check out,
it shows "How much you saved" on the shopping cart.
So you get to see how much you saved compared to how much you would have spent normally.
I suggest all of you to give it a try!!!
I heard even a makeup person can apply it as long as they have done a makeup on others (friend's prom or wedding) and have a proof of that.

and I did! and I got it!!!!!!
I couldn't shop till MAC officially emailed me the number....
so I was patiently waiting.....
and just like 30 minutes ago, they emailed me!!
So, of course,
I left my studying aside,
and I went on online shopping at macpro.com :) lol
CAN"T WAIT till they arrive!
Once products get here, I will do a haul & a video about how to apply for the MAC PRO card.

Lipstick review!
I thought I am going to do a small post tonight.
I have one ABSOLUTE favorite lipstick that I wear pretty much everyday,
just by itself, underneath another lipstick, or on top of another lipstick.
It is....
Revlon Matte Lipstick, Nude Attitude, .15-Ounces (Pack of 2)
This is like MAC myth, so it is very very pale colour.
But this Nude attitude is not as white(?) as myth and it is smooth(not too sticky).
I love many many many other lipsticks,
but when I am out, this is what I use to correct my lips.
When I don't have time to think about what to wear,
this is the one.
Sometimes,
when you want to have nice pinky colour, but if it is sheer,
I put it on top of this Revlon Nude Attitude, and it shows really vivid.

It is all black but there is a peek glass window on the top of the cap,

I have one ABSOLUTE favorite lipstick that I wear pretty much everyday,
just by itself, underneath another lipstick, or on top of another lipstick.
It is....
Revlon Matte Lipstick, Nude Attitude, .15-Ounces (Pack of 2)
This is like MAC myth, so it is very very pale colour.
But this Nude attitude is not as white(?) as myth and it is smooth(not too sticky).
I love many many many other lipsticks,
but when I am out, this is what I use to correct my lips.
When I don't have time to think about what to wear,
this is the one.
Sometimes,
when you want to have nice pinky colour, but if it is sheer,
I put it on top of this Revlon Nude Attitude, and it shows really vivid.

Review on POSH brush set & angle brush
Hi!!
I have been updating my blog page so much lately.
Im on fire! haha
Well, actually I am trying to find an excuse for getting away from studying for my exams... hehe :P
Anyways!
I reviewed a POSH flat top brush last time.
and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
so, I went to get other kinds.
On their website http://www.poshbrushes.com/,
prices are so expensive,
but in a drugstore called Rexell in Canada, the prices were much much cheaper.
Here are what I picked up.
Posh 5 Piece Mini Brush Kit w/Zip Purse
is prices as $30,
but I only pad $10 for the kit.
They are soooo convenient!
all the brushes are very very soft.
I use them for eyes, face, and for lips.
They are super super soft but firm enough.
My favorite is fluffy angled eyeshadow brush.
It is great to put all over lid colour or colour on the brow bone.
Another thing is that the small white brush is great for concealing blemishes.
I love this brush kit!
they are tiny, but good quality!
PERFECT for traveling :)
Next thing I am going to show you is
Posh White Angle Blush Brush
This is listed as $14 but in Rexel, I only paid for $7.
This drugstore is probably Canada only,
but because it's local, they always have good sales and good deals :)
anyways,
to review this blush brush,
Ive gotta say, I LOVE THIS!
It is soooo soft.
I love the look of this brush too. very very classic.
it is perfect size to control where you want to pack the colour.
it is so soft so you can blend it away & it leaves just perfect amount on cheeks.
I absolutely love this.
This is way easier to put blush than regular round top brushes.
I am so into these POSH brushes now....
I love their pricing too!
but now that I have MACPRO card,,,,
Im excited to invest in something from MAC as well...
I don't know if I want any brushes from MAC though,
because one brush I have from MAC (109)is very very hard & scratchy.
& it sheds like crazy.
but you never know.. it might be only one that has bad quality.
anyways!
When I find time (after exams),
I will film some videos for youtube channel as well.

I decided to share my favorite makeup products here.
youtube has lots of great gurus and they solved so many of my concerns through great makeup application.
I dont put too much makeup on but I learned how to look flawless & beautiful without looking like I have too much makeup on as well.
I will introduce my favorite guru here...

Now,
I am going to show some of my makeup products that I use daily!! (basic makeup)
I love love loveeee all the products that I use!!!
After trying out some different products,
now I am settled with this daily routine.
(I sometimes change shadows & some things like blush depending on if Im going out or not)
Here they go...!! lol
I will write in order :)
First,
I apply a toner & moisturizer.
then,
I apply Revlon New Complexion concealer on my undereye circle.
then,
I buff Revlon Colorstay foundation in Buff using Mac 109 brush.
Set foundation with Covergirl loose powder in translucent.
Then, apply a tiny tiny bit of BonneBelle Bronzer & MAC Rose collection Beauty Powder.

I go on to do my eyebrows using elf eyebrow kit or eyebrow pencil (one that my mom gave me... don't know what brand...)
finally, I apply eyeshadow.
For everyday use, I am in love with Annabelle's single shadow called Gleam.
then, I LOVE having eyeliners on upper lashline. (using wet n wild cream liner) & sometimes I use revlon colorstay pencil liner too.
For mascara,
I like using Maybeline Colossal volume express mascara.
For lips, I have many different favorite lipsticks!!!!

and I carry other lipsticks in my purse like
- Rimmel Nude Delight
