Wet 'n' Wild Flirty Rose Crème & French manicure with nail art stickers

Wet 'n' Wild - Flirty Rose Crème, 3 coats

PSA - Avoid, I repeat AVOID Flirty Rose Crème like the plague! It's a watery, streaky mess and a pain to apply. It took three carefully applied coats to hide the streakiness and a lot of cleanup to make this wreck of a lacquer presentable.

Wet 'n' Wild - Flirty Rose Crème & H&M - Kitty Princess, 3 + 1 coats

The tips were painted with H&M Kitty Princess and a bunch of heart, flower and butterfly nail art stickers completed this vomit inducing pink sugary cuteness!

18 December 2010

Lost idea to create the title, then i decided to pick the date of today as a title of this post. I been not feeling well since 2 days ago, my back feels hurt and tired i dont know why, might be homesick (that what my fiance said though). And yes i missing Bali very very very much!

I got new items related to nail stuff. I got rhinestone ( im not sure what the name) and some stickers. I done 2 nail art designs to my own nail and my aunty with the rhinestone.

First mani, i used base coat from Pixy, white polish for french line, glitter from Eternally, purple rhinestone, and purple from Eternally to create some dots.

Here it is :

I know the glitter doesnt look clear on the on the pics :(

For the second mani, i was doing my aunty's nail, she is actually my first model to practice on for another hand nails. She is glad i done her nails, so am i :). I started with base coat from Pixy, making line french with Sparkling Beach from LA Splash, white polish to create tiny line below it then applied yellow rhinestones and last is top coat from Pixy.

Back to Nail

Hello, back here for a while from viewing US Embassy website. I have read and found out what info that i need. Okay back to nail, today im going to updating some photos of mani. I like to paint flowers and french manicure-style. I have done lots of flower mani, but i still have to think for more style of flower to create on nail.

For this, i started with base and top coat from Sally Hansen, then i applied 2 coats of Tough Buff from Sally Hansen, then i paint the flower with tooth pick. I used red from Pixy and green from Eternally to make the flower. Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that i use white from unknown-brand of polish to make a small dot in the middle of flower.
Here the picture :

And this one is mani that my neighbour done to my right hand. Do nail art by using left hand is still very difficult for me! :( So she offered to make a french manicure to my right hand. For this mani , started with base and top coat from Sally Hansen, one coat of Tough Buff that making my nails look more natural and healthy , and white of unknown brand-polish  to make horizontal line on top of nails. Then i asked her if she can apply some green glittter that i bought the day before. And she applied it very tidy. I love the mani result very much :D So here is the picture :

And i forgot to take pics of the gliiter bottle and the polish bottles for this mani. Read Full...

Wet n Wild Shield & A Skinny Funky French Manicure

This is 3 coats of Wet n Wild Shield. It's a gorgeous taupey foil with silver and copper bits too. The formula is nice but the brush is super stubby with a big round lid. I got used too it though. Ashley loves this one so much that she bought a back up!

I used Zoya Kristi for the french manicure. I love the color combination but it would have looked much better if all of my nails were the same shape!

A Few Zoya Reds From Wicked & Wonderful Fall Collections & Nail Art

Zoya Kym is a lovely rusty red with glass-flecked, gold shimmer. This is 2 easily applied coats. Not my favorite with my skintone but a great color for fall nonetheless.

Next up we have Zoya Stacy. I think this one is gorgeous! This is 2 coats. I tried a french manicure with Zoya Cheryl.

Zoya Kristi is my new favorite red! Flawless, 2 coat application. Perfect red creme, neither to cool or too warm, just perfect! I used Zoya Kelly and my smARTnails stickers too for this manicure.

Here are my overall thoughts on both of Zoya's fall collections, Wicked & Wonderful.

Toma Purple Mist To Grey Mist & A French Manicure

I've never posted NINE pictures of any polish before, but this one deserves it! Toma Mood Changing Purple Mist to Grey Mist is one of the most unique colors I've ever seen! I have no idea how to describe it so I'll just let you look at the pretty pictures. Gorgeous!

I did a french manicure using China Glaze LOL. I didn't end up liking the color combination as much as I thought I would though
.

I would buy this in a heartbeat if I could find it anywhere!!! What do you think ladies, should we petition Mad Beauty, who took over Toma, to bring this color back?

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Lickety Split Lime & a French Manicure

I love this color and I'm in the minority who love the wide Insta-Dri brushes. But I almost threw this bottle across the room in frustration! I don't even know how to describe what the formula was doing. It was kind of like trying to spread Elmer's glue in really thin layers with a paint brush. I used a super thick coat of Insta-Dri Clear and everything mostly evened out. I tried adding thinner and it helped some, but not enough for me to pick this one up again any time soon.

I haven't heard about anyone else having problems with this color and I love the other Insta-Dri's that I've tried so maybe I was just having a bad polish day. Do you ladies have any recommendations for a fabulous lime green? I don't want a neon, just a nice bright lime creme.

I used the brush option of one of my Migi Nail Art pens for the french manicure. Nowhere close to perfect, but not bad without guides.

Sally Girl - Peabody

This is a very pretty color, but I didn't really like it with my skin tone. You can pick them up for about $1 at Sally Beauty Supply. That is my dog Wally Thor. He makes me happy everyday! Ashley used this color to do her first french manicure. I think it turned out pretty sweet.
Thanks for looking.
