Baked To Last- Bronzer

Yesterday blush,today bronzer

Meet the other members of the Body Shops baked to last collection.

Theres a shade for lighter skin tones,in warm glow

And a shade for darker skin tones, which is in Golden bronze

Below I have swatched them both heavily.Just like the blushers they are very sheer and buildable.

Due to swirling my finger around in my bronzers,iv now messed up the pretty pattern! dam you swatches!

Anyhoo,back to the subject.....

I tend to use the lighter shade as its more suited to my skin.I think its really pretty and although this also contains a shimmer, they havent gone overboard.

The thing I like most about these bronzers,is that there not a solid block of one colour. You can definitely see swirls of different shades, and im sure I've detected a hint of pearly pink in the lighter shade.

Best of all you dont get that ' I've just fallen in dirt' look, and they last.

RRP £14

Baked To Last - Blush

I attended the body shop bloggers event a while back now,and these little beauts were in our goody bag.

Part of their latest bake to last range, these blushers/highlight offer a sheer natural colour to the cheeks, leaving behind an added glow.

Because these blushers are really sheer when applied,I have heavily swatched them so you can see the colours clearer.
Below we have blush shade coral, which recently I have been using alot.

Then we have shade Petal

Here we have them mixed with the highlight

Petal:Left Coral:Right

At first glance you can see the shimmer on these babies, but when applied and blended out I think the results are quite nice, and not at all over powering.I dont think anyones going for disco ball cheeks nowadays!

A little goes a long way and they do have staying power.

I used petal a couple of times, but the coral has been getting a good bashing.I will definitely be purchasing that one when mine runs out.

I almost forgot, these look great with a tan!

STOP!

When I attended TBS event we were informed of their new campaigne that would launch this month.Well im here to tell you it has now launched and by taking a few minutes out of your day,you could be helping to stop sex trafficking amongst children and young people.

Theres a couple of different ways you can do this, either by purchasing the soft hands kind heart hand cream,or signing the petition(which takes literally 10 secs to sign). But lets be real,I want you to do both.

All you need to know is as follows....

Discover the NEW special edition, “Soft Hands Kind Heart” hand cream to launch the second year of The Body Shop campaign with ECPAT to“Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People”. About The Campaign: This year a petition calling for the UK Government to offer safety and wellbeing to young victims of trafficking launches specifically calling for greater care and protection to child victims of trafficking by ensuring every child is provided with a guardian to look after them.A system of guardianship would mean that every child victim of trafficking would have someone with parental responsibility to care and support them.A guardian would protect each child and prevent them from facing further exploitation and harm from their traffickers

How Can you Help?:

1. Sign the petition at any The Body Shop store or online at www.thebodyshop.com/stop

2.Spread the word – join the Facebook group(Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People), or follow @ECPATUK and@TheBodyShopUK on Twitter and change your profile picture to your handprint or hand in the ‘stop’ position to show you’ve signed the petition and supported the campaign

3.Buy the hand cream – all proceeds** from the sales of The Body Shop ‘Soft Hands, Kind Hearts’ hand cream (50ml/ RRP: £3.50) goes to ECPAT to support their projects in this

Vitamin C Radiance Powder Mix - 10 Day Challenge

So last week I attended the Body Shop event (post to follow)
Whilst there,we were introduced to the new items in the vitamin c range. The main product that stood out to me was the vitamin c radiance powder mix.

What it says "Get from A to B with vitamin C.Designed to work with a daily skin care regime and awaken your natural radiance, which modern life often takes out.

The range includes our favourite skin smoothing ingredients that we buy from expert community trade suppliers round the world, helping them to support their families and communities.

Plus there's Amazonian camu camu, one of the fruits with the highest content of natural vitamin C.

Once mixed with the serum, this is meant to give you improved skin tone and texture and a look of natural radiance in just 10 days.

I am currently on day 8.I have been using it day and night as instructed, and I must say im liking what I see.

The formula smells so zesty and isnt greasy at all, which I must say I was rather surprised by.

My skin is definately looking more radiant if I do say so myself.I have 2 days left before I reach the 10 day goal, and im not sure if much else can happen.

This product is really good if you think your skin needs a boost and is lacking radiance. It has definately made a visible difference to my skin. And in the words of my princess "your skin is glowing mum" ,thats good enough for me

Its not in stores yet,but will be soon,so keep your eyes peeled.

RRP £12.00

And also, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the body shop petition.Help stop sex trafficking of children and young people,it only takes a signature.

Have a nice weekend and enjoy the sun.x Read Full...

Gotcha

Finally got my mitts on the bodyshop vitamin E spray, yay and I got it for £4 as my local bodyshop are giving out £3 vouchers, not to sure why,but hey every little helps.

Although I only picked it up today, being the keeno I am,iv used it twice already lol,and im liking it.It fits into my skin regime perfectly as im using everything Vitamin E at the moment.

Im going to pop it into the fridge now along side my face cream.Cool mists in the morning,I think so....

On a different note,im such a loser, I need to go back as my LOVE ETC perfume has run out! Why do I notice these things AFTER I've hit the shops.Ahhh well, just another exuse to go shoping again. Read Full...

Vitamin E

Ok so my fix+ spray is basically finished,it no longer kisses my face with a fine mist of goodness,it more spits at me now,"that's not nice."

Unless im heading up west,or I order another online,im not going to get my hands on it any time soon.

Insert my back up plan......

The body shop vitamin E facial spray.I have been hearing some good things about this little pink bottle, and it kind of makes sense to let it play a part in my daily routine,as I have been using Superdrugs vitamin E products for some time now,and my skin is looking like I used too, smooth and radiant

This is also cheaper than fix+ ,its only by £4 but that could buy me a meal at KFC so im not complaining.

Have any of you tried this before, what's your thoughts.

Body Shop- A God Send

I used to lightly exfoliate my face with exfoliating gloves.Frankly it was annoying because I had make sure I didn't apply too much pressure so not to scratch my face.A few blog reads later, and my problem was solved.

Enter body shop facial buffer.......

A little while back I was reading Holly's (yummy mummy) blogpost on this magical £3 item she had picked up from the body shop.It was about time I stopped playing roulette with my face, and stepped away from the exfoliating gloves.

Finally last week I had the chance to pick the buffer up.Words fail me as to how amazing this little thing is.If you want soft, smooth, silky skin just head down to your local body shop tomorrow and pick one of these up.From first use I had super soft skin.

The lady in the shop also gave me a sample of the seaweed facial scrub which I used with the buffer.I told her that she would probably see me again in a week, and oh how she is.The seaweed scrub is really nice and its one of those scrubs you can feel working. It also smells scrumptious.

Now armed with a £3 off voucher the lady kindly attached to my purchase,I have an even better intensive to get myself back down there.

Has anyone else tried either of these.Whats your wonder product?

Body Shop Tinted Glow Enhancer

So let me introduce you to my new love,Its long, brown and keeps me looking radiant...NO LADIES lol-Its my tinted glow enhancer from the body shop.....

I came across this on zoellas blog, and fell in love-but for £11,I was like meh...
theres things out there that are probably the same. But then I saw another review where this was mixed in with foundation and I fell in love with the perfect glowy airbrushed look it gave

So when I was out I could smell that body shop was just around the corner,Hmmm what to do what to do,Should I be spending £11 on a 25ml tube of goodness,or do I have some self control and briskly walk past the shop *cough* £11 on a tube of goodness sounds good.

what body shop says "A lightweight, moisturising liquid formulation that provides a natural-looking sheer radiance that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, even out skin tone and instantly brighten the complexion. It can be worn alone as an alternative to foundation, or applied over foundation to add a subtle sheen to the face and body. Dermatologically tested"

What Im thinking.....
In the picture below I have taken a small amount and blended it out for ya
Ok,now imagine if I took a real size dollop and blended it out,The dewiness = love for me.....

I mixed this with my foundation this morning (maybeline dream satin liq) and I look so fresh faced, and my skin just looks bright.Considering its only a 25ml tube,a little goes a long way and I think this will last a long time-Oh did I mention its also meant to fill in fine lines-all round goodness

Definitely my new favourite product. There is also 2 other ones- the glow enhancer-which is pinky toned and then theres a lighter shade to the one ive got

I will not be responsible for anyone that now wants to part with £11 lol
