E45 Endless Moisture

Im the first to admit that when moisturising my body,I kind of neglect my legs.So a cream that could provide long lasting moisture could be the weapon against neglect my legs need.

E45 say this cream provides long lasting moisture and protection against water loss, basically meaning when you moisturise in the morning, your skin is still as moisturised in the evening. It is also meant to help replenish lost moisture.

As well as that, you may have spotted the word 'RADIANCE' on the bottle.Ahhh im such a sucker for pretty words.

This cream also contains a slight shimmer that leaves your skin with a sheen type glow, which may I add looks so pretty when paired with a tan.

Onto my thoughts:I have been using this cream for some time now and it does help lock in the moisture. The reason I know this is because usually come night time my legs are quite dry,and once I started using this that problem went away.

I will keep using it as I love the radiance it leaves on the skin.It also allows me to be lazy on the odd night when it comes to moisturising.

Endless moisture is available from near enough anywere.I cant remember the price, its around the £2 (something) mark. But I do remember its on deal in superdrugs at the moment.

Are any of you fans of E45?

Dry Body Brushing

Before I go any further HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLOGGY!.Iv just realised my blog is officially 1 today.Although iv been neglecting my baby for the past few weeks due to the computer dying! I just want to say a big thank you to everyone old and new thats stuck with me along the way.I still cant believe people actually read things I write,it definitely puts a smile on my face.So heres to 1 year of blogging, and hopefully loads more.

Thanks again everyone for your support.xx

Now thats out the way, onto the post....

Iv decided to start body brushing.Iv heard so much about it,and apparently results are noticeable quite quickly.

Benefits of dry brushing...

1. Removes cellulite

2. Cleanses the lymphatic system

3. Removes dead skin layers

4. Strengthens the immune system

5. Stimulates the hormone and oil-producing glands

6. Tightens the skin preventing premature aging

7. Tones the muscles

8. Stimulates circulation

9. Improves the function of the nervous system

10. Helps digestion

11. AND it's easy, inexpensive and invigorating.

Theres loads of info on how to body brush onine, but to put it in a nut shell,It doesnt matter where you start,as long as you are doing fast sweeping motions towards the heart. For example when doing your legs, you would start from the feet up,and when doing arms you would start at the hand brushing towards the shoulder.

Its recommended to dry brush once a day, which is what I will be doing.

I picked up my brush from superdrugs for £4.99.It has a detachable handle which you will need when your doing your back. Its also a natural bristle brush,as synthetic ones could scratch or damage the skin.

Im currently on day 2,and my arms and legs are feeling really soft,I do hope I can keep this up to reap the real benefits.I can just see it now,a few months down the line my brush will be dusty and Il be wondering "what if"

I will keep you posted on any changes either on here or via twitter.

Until then,do any of you body brush, and have you seen results?

Also you may have seen me tweet yesterday about gradual tanners,I couldnt narrow it down so im asking again. What would you say the best gradual tanner is at the moment?I have nightmares of the yellow hue the johnsons one used to give me when it first hit the shelves.

Let me know ladies.x Read Full...

Fed Up Of Hair

Right so Im over having hair, unless its on my head.Im a lazy cow and frankly I cant be bothered with shaving, and waxing and removing hair from my legs with something that looks like a small piece of low grit sand paper.

Summer is coming, well at least im hoping.I want to be able to tan without waiting 24hrs because it might irritate my skin or I might end up with loads of little dots where the tanner has just sat in my hair follicle. Not only that,at times when I have shaved,I have come up with these random tiny bumps on my legs where my hair has tried to grow back through and failed miserably.

Im lucky I dont have thick or course hair, but the fact it can reappear when I have removed it is not on. You would have thought It would have got the hint by now.

The only way im going to stop moaning,is if the hair I dont want is zapped into another dimension never to be seen again.Only one thing can help me.

Hmm what might that be......

Laser hair removal of course. Its the only way im going to keep my legs smooth and free of those horrid little bumps. If you watch the short video above, you will see that this little machine called the ipulse can remove hair for good in the comfort of your own home.Im down with that,id rather do that kind of thing myself anyway.

The machine is currently sold in boots, and its on offer at the moment for £274.99.Now it may not sound cheap, but it is compared to an actual laser hair treatment that can cost around £120 - £320 for one session.

Im definitely going to look into this a bit more. Those crappy little bumps wont be stopping me from wearing skirts this year!

Who else is with me? It would be really embarrassing if know one was lol

Have any of you tried laser hair removal,or are you thinking about it? Let me know

Lush Sugar Babe

After walking around Lush and smelling everything in site,I settled on two things,Sugar Babe sugar scrub, and the Candy cane bubble bar. These were the two things I was drawn to even though it was spend £20 get anything free

So anyhoo,as the weathers been so cold and all and I was down at my mums,I thought Id purchase a couple things I could use down there,Which I forgot to pack in my over full suitcase.

Exfoliating and moisturising is like a staple in my body care routine-Especially when its winter. So when I saw this little ball of loveliness I didn't hesitate to pick it up

I used this yesterday, and I love the fact its the kind of sugar grains that you can feel working.I did make the mistake of leaving the shower on whilst scrubbing away which bloody melted half the thing, but fear not I managed to salvage half the ball lol-I havnt hit the red centre yet-I dont actually know what it is lol-But my skin was still left silky smooth and moisturised

At £2.60 you cant actually go wrong

I will be doing a review about the candy cane once I can get over the addiction of smelling it(seriously addictive) and crumble it in my bath

Hope everyone had a good xmas and new year

: )

p.s Do you like my new header

A ladybird, lee stafford and skin doctors

So I got out today before the daily rain we seem to be having, picked up a few bits n bobs

I picked up some Lee Stafford climate control,Ive never used this before but Ive never had any trouble with his products in the past,in fact I quite love them.My hair isnt handling the wind and and the rain, and this dry spray promises to give me protection from elements all year round, preserving its strength and prolonging my hair colour,so we shall see....

Also on the cards we have a product I discovered online, called ingrow go,Its by a company called skin doctors and promises to rid those hideous little red bumps you can sometimes get from shaving or in grown hairs.Im not ashamed to admit I sometimes get those tiny ugly bumps from shaving,Im just glad ive found something to keep my legs smoooooth,Before purchasing this,I read a load of reviews on this stuff,I never saw one bad one, lets leave it a that, you can get this at boots for £9.99,Yeah it sounds expensive, but if its going to sort a problem nothing has been able to in the past,im not fussed,I will def keep you all updated........

I also got some carmex,I forgot to add it in the pictures, whoops, but you all know what it looks like,It hasn't really been that cold but my lips just didnt feel at all moisturised, the vaseline weren't cutting it,So in come carmex,It moisturises and protects and has a little tingle sensation when you put it on.I love the smell too,so far so good

And last but not least.....

I picked up this dainty ladybird necklace from topshop for £4,yes its so dainty in this picture it looks like a tiny red dot,But I assure you it isnt lol,I will try and get a better picture up of it.It really is the sweetest thing ive ever seen,oh and its not a sale item either,it actually is £4

have you tried any of the products up top?

If you have,let me know

Epilating

So now winters coming,My legs need more attention.Exfoliating,Moisturising ......
It happens every year,As soon as winter comes my legs dry out like some kind of tropical river.

So heres were the problem lays,For some annoying reason, when my skin gets really dry,It causes these tiny bumps on certain parts of my legs, where the dead skin continuously blocks the hair folicle, arrrgh

Exfoliating helps it,but it sure isnt a cure.So I have decided to give epilating a go,I haven't got an epilator as of yet but im on the hunt for one.Its meant to keep hair away for 4wks,making it grow back really fine,So maybe it will help me in conquering my winter legs

I must say though,Im not looking forward to the pain,Does anyone know what its like?

Im just imagining the worst

I once heard a story about a lady who got her armpits threaded,I know wft....

Surely it cant hurt more than that......

If any1s ever been down the epilating road, let me know how you got on

Scubalicious body scrub

This is one of my favourite body scrubs, especially if im on a bit of a budget

Its jammed packed with shea butter, which leaves you feeling soft and moisterised, and you can actually feel it scrub,so its great for the lover of tanning......

: ( its nearly finished

Its a sugar scrub, and its quite thick in texture,so you dont need to use alot
and due to the shea butter, ince you have used it,your left with a nice radiant sheen to the skin

All in all its a bargain at £4.99,and the best bit is, i think its sold in most supermarkets
I always pick mine up when im doing my tesco run

I will be trying the soap and glory sugar scrub when this one is finished,i have read so many good reviews about it

until then ladies,if you need a quick fix

eau de soap & glory

Ok,so i know its like 12.30 in the afternoon, but i was just getting ready to hop into the shower : S

When the buzzer went, and omg i was given this.........

how kool is this, its the nicest parcel ive ever seen....

The item soap & glory wished for me to review had arrived, and its only been like 3days since they contacted me

so i was guessing that if the package was sooo cute, what was inside......

the eau de soap and glory and something else packed with shredded pink paper

hmmmmm what could be inside this little box......

a yummy biscuit,i never expected that,i want to eat it so bad,but i cant bring myself to do it

so back to the review, eau de soap and glory, has recently been launched into stores,a perfume spray with top notes of citrus, bergamont, mandarin, jasmine and freesia on a mix of musks, sandlewood, vanilla and amber.

It comes in a deep shiny black box, that opens out like a book, theres also a magnetic strip so it stays closed when you want it closed,i love the attention to detail, and the fact that they have clearly designed the box so you can keep it and use it for something else

So ive just spritzed some onto my arm
And whats cool about it,is the fact that you can actually smell every scent they have thrown in

It has quite a strong smell when you first spray it,but once it has settled,it smells quite lovely,i cant actually stop smelling my wrist, mmm vanilla lol

Its definately one of those fragrances that other people get a whiff of when you walk past, and thats the kind of fragrance i love

The pink and black packaging is cute, and i love the retro tassle that hangs round the neck of the bottle,i give them a 10/10 for this one,i believe it retails at £15 for50ml,ladies you should give it a try click HERE to get yours

Im going to ponder now,on whether i should indulge on the biscuit or not

oh man,iv bitten a corner.......

: )

thanks soap & glory team
