Zoya Edyta

Zoya Edyta immediately jumped right into my top five favorites! It's a dark pine green loaded with glass-flecked, gold and green shimmer. Super sexy and gorgeous and I only needed ONE, easily applied coat! The formula was superb and a little strange. I felt like I was applying liquid crushed velvet to my nails! The first three pictures were taken in full sunlight and the last two in the shade. This is a must have in my opinion!!!!

Here are my overall thoughts on both of Zoya's fall collections, Wicked & Wonderful.

American Apparel Hassid

American Apparel Hassid is a black creme polish. Nothing fancy, no sparkles or matte effects. I would never wear this alone but it is an amazing polish if you like to do nail art! Hassid is opaque in one easily applied, quick-drying, thin coat! Woohoo! It also works great with water marbling and Konad! If you haven't found a great black creme, I strongly suggest you try American Apparel Hassid.

Disclosure: I was provided a product sample by American Apparel. This in no way affects my opinions of the product. For more information read my Disclosure Policy.

Sinful Secret Admirer & A Giveaway Roundup

I have had great luck with the Sinful polishes I have tried so far. Secret Admirer costs $2 & I can get away with just one coat if I'm careful. I really love any nail polish that can look good with one coat. Sometimes I'm in a hurry! Black creme nail polish is not something I'm interested in wearing. (or any of those polishes that look black unless you are in the sun, for that matter!) But the superfine silver shimmer in Secret Admirer makes this black polish a winner for me. This Sinful polish is great for Konad and nail art because it is so pigmented. It worked great for the tuxedo on my Dracula nails.
I used Nail Tek Foundation II on my ring and pinkie fingers for a matte effect.

N.Y.C. Downtown & A Giveaway Roundup

I have already gone through my first bottle of this polish and purchased a back-up. I know you're all thinking, "But April, it's so boring!". I actually agree with you. I've only worn this on my hands once to get pictures.
N.Y.C. Downtown lives on my toes! I haven't changed the color in ages. This polish costs .94 cents at Target, is opaque in one coat & just seems to be a classic color that I don't have to think about. I know my toes will look good and it will go with everything. Nice berry creme in one coat for a buck is a no-brainer in my world!
Do you ladies change your pedicure polish as frequently as you do your nails? Do you stick with a few neutral colors most of the time or do you go wild and crazy?

I used Nail Tek Foundation II on my ring & pinkie for a matte effect.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Blue Streak & Jumpin Jade

Here are a couple of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri pictures that I've been meaning to post for ages. I personally LOVE everything about the Insta-Dri line. I have very wide nails, so the extra wide brush is perfect for me. I know a lot of you ladies can't stand the brush though. I also love the formula on the two I have tried so far. One coat for both of these colors. One coat and a super fast dry time is impossible to beat in my world. I recently took the RBL Spongebob Collection off of my want list because I just can't stand the thought of doing 5 coats!

I really want more of this particular Sally Hansen line. Lickety-Split Lime was at the top of my lemming list over the summer, but I never found it here in Tulsa. What do you ladies think of this line? Are there any colors you love in spite of the brush?

First up is Blue Streak. For some reason, I never end up liking turquoise on my nails. It's one of my favorite colors, so I really have no explanation for this quirk of mine. The color is lovely and I think it might work well for Konad. (The bubbles were from some random base coat I was trying.)

Next we have Jumpin Jade. I LOVE this one! Not the most unique color in the polish world any more, but super gorgeous just the same. I tried Nail Tech Foundation II as a matte topcoat on my ring finger but wasn't happy with the result. It totally erased the shimmer and made my nail look like green rubber.

China Glaze LOL & A Giveaway Roundup

I know everyone has seen this one before, but I just wore it again the other day and I sure do love it! This is a great polish if you need to get out the door in a hurry, but still need to have fabulous nails. I can get away with one coat if I'm careful and it's totally dry in a minute or two. Has anyone compared China Glaze LOL to the Color Club Wild At Heart purple holo? These are old pictures back when it was warm and sunny.

Here's an indoor shot. Even though the holo isn't as noticeable inside, it's still a lovely shade purple.

This was my second or third Konad attempt. I might redo this for New year's Eve.

My first video!

OPI - Done Out In Deco

I don't think much needs to be said for this color. It's a very beautiful lavender creme and is from OPI's South Beach Collection.
This is two coats. If you were in a hurry I think you could get away with one coat, which is always a plus.

Toma Chromicolor

This is the second nail polish I ever chose for myself! It is my go to color if I am in a major hurry because it is opaque in one coat and dries in about a minute! Lovely silvery purple chrome metal nails! YAY! Not sure what the actual name of the color is because the sticker was missing when I purchased it. The first two pictures were taken in sunlight and the third indoors.
