With my MAC Dare to Wear haul last week I picked up 5 of the 12 eyeshadows that were released and I already owned 3 of the shades.
I got:
Lime - Lime green (Matte)
Sassy Grass - Bright grass green (Matte)
Goin' Bananas - Soft lemon yellow (Frost)
Louder, Please - Bright fuchsia (Matte)
Shock-a-Holic - Deep purple (Matte)
I already owned:
Winkle - Midtone cornflower blue (Satin)
Atlantic Blue - Bright violet blue (Matte)
Free To Be - Bright true coral (Matte)
Keep reading for the review/swatches.
Lime, Sassy Grass, Winkle, Atlantic Blue
(Winkle and Atlantic Blue look less similar in real life, I don't know why my camera isn't picking up on that.)
Goin' Bananas, Louder Please, Shock-A-Holic
Free To Be
(I already had this one swatched so that's why it's all lonely.)
I didn't have any pigmentation problems with any of these shadows although if I were to pick the most pigmented, the award would go to Louder, Please and the least pigmented of the bunch for me would be Lime or Winkle. Now, don't get me wrong, both are pretty pigmented, they just need a little layering in order to get the desired result.
The texture was also good with these shadows - there were obviously a lot of matte shades released with this collection and the textures were all consistent with what you would expect from a matte shadow. My favourite to apply of the bunch would have to be Goin' Bananas just because I have always liked frost finishes better than most others.
And that's it!
Hope this was helpful. :)
