Hey everyone!
Just thought that I would do a quick update of where I have been the last couple of days. It seems like a while since I've made a post but it might not seem as long to you guys since my last 2 posts I had scheduled ahead of time.
Anyways, if anyone stays up to date with global news, you may have heard about Hurricane Igor which struck here in Newfoundland yesterday. The power has been out in my house since yesterday around 3:30pm and it won't be back until probably sometime tomorrow so I haven't been able to do much at all. We were very fortunate that the biggest damage for us has only been the loss of power (along with 75,000 other houses who have been without power since last night). However, some people were not so fortunate and are dealing with a lot more damage (as you can see after the jump).
I have class tomorrow so my boyfriend and I are staying at his parent's house for the night (they were lucky enough to not lose their power) so I have access to the internet tonight.
That means that I also have access to light so I will be doing my nails tonight so expect to see a beauty related post soon.
